Product Qualifications

The product must be original or is not of an imitation in which the designer can be identified.

The product shows a development of innovation in technology, production process or material use which helps reduce energy use or helps improve the production process to be more energy efficient or other evidence that indicates the product is environmental friendly.

The product has to be on the market and is marketable and makes profit within a domestic market or international market. (The period of which the product has been commercialized must be longer than 6 months starting from the date applying for the award.)

The product could be a single piece or could be a set (series).

Candidate qualifications

The candidate must be a juristic body which has been registered with the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce or other service department of the government. The juristic body must have Thai identity which holds over 50 percent of the share.

A juristic body which has started the exporting business at least for a year since the company has been registered.

The company maintains a good reputation and has no report of complaints. For instance, no report of act of violating copyright law or has an attempt to imitate other products.

One applicant or one juristic body can submit more than one product but not more than five products. The candidate must meet all the qualifications to be eligible to compete in this category.
